The NY State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and the NY Power Authority (NYPA) each issued requests for proposals (RFPs) for New York State renewable energy projects on June 2, 2017.
This is the first REC procurement under NY State's Clean Energy Standard, which requires that 50% of NY State's electricity come from renewable energy sources such as solar and wind by 2030.
